Photo Emulsion

Emulsion Coating Machine

Various size of programmable emulsion coating machine available to achieve highest surface smoothness and even emulsion thickness across the stencil area.

Duocure type photoemulsion

The emulsion has dual reaction processes. The emulsion already contains some sensitizer but not enough to cure well until further diazo powder is added. This type of emulsion will be both water and solvent resistant and have better definition and resolution than normal emulsion. Also, the exposure time is shorter. These emulsions are Ulano RLX, Ulano LX-660, Ulano Proclaim SR, Foteco 1019, Foteco 1072, Murakami SP9500 and Murakami Advance 20 for solvent based and UV inks and Ulano 836 for water based inks and ceramic tiles.

Mixing
Pour lukewarm water to the bottle of diazo powder to the amount stated, close the lid and shake it well. Add the solution to the emulsion, and stir it well. Let it sit until the foam goes away first, normolly it is overnight.

Dichromate type photoemulsion

Wincoat 1606 with pink colours and Wincoat 1607 with blue colour. It is suitable for solvent-based inks and water-based inks. They use ratio of emulsion to dichromate as 5:1. Ulano 145 has green colour and uses ratio of emulsion to dichromate as 10:1.

SBQ type photoemulsion

It is ready-to-be use without further sensitizer added. It has high solid and high viscosity. It can be kept for long time and need to be used in safe light room. It has good resistant to both solvent and water and good adhesion to screen mesh, making it suitable for low mesh count screen mesh. Examples are Ulano QLT, Ulano Platinum Violet, Ulano QX-3, Ulano QX-5, Murakami One Pot Sol XL for solvent based and UV inks and Ulano QTX, Murakami SBQ TXR for water based inks.

Diazo type photoemulsion

A fixed amount of diazo powder will be given to be mixed with water which will be added to the photoemulsion. There are Ulano 569, Ulano Fx88SR , Foteco 1771 , Foteco 1711, Z11 and Z12. It is suitable for solvent based and UV inks. Ulano TZ and Ulano 925WR are suitable for Water based inks

Mixing
Pour lukewarm water to the bottle of diazo powder to the amount stated, close the lid and shake it well. Add the solution to the emulsion, and stir it well. Let it sit until the foam goes away first, normally it is overnight.

Photoemulsion

Photoemulsion and sensitizer are used to create design layout on the stencil. It is categorized according to the sensitizer as follows :
1. Photoemulsion that uses Dichromate sensitizer.
2. Photoemulsion that uses Diazo sensitizer and Duocure Photoemulsion that also uses Diazo sensitizer as well.
3. Photoemulsion that already has SBQ sensitizer mixed inside.

Stencil Remover

It uses for remove screen emulsion or CDF film.
- Remover Powder 44 can add 10 liters of water to 100 gram of powder.
- can add 10 liters of water to 100 gram of powder. ready to use stencil remover paste for fast and thorough removal of direct emulsion, CDF direct films and indirect-direct films from all types of fabric.
